JACKSON BROWNE TICKET SALES Pacific Alliance and the EMU Cultural Forum are pleased to announce plans for the ticket sales for the Jackson Browne Benefit Concert for Monday Febraury 23, 1981. at 8 pm. The first day's ticket sales will be conducted in ROOM 108 OF THE EMU. Because we expect the line for these ticket sales to form before the building opens on February 3,1981, the line for these sales will form in the EMU Breezeway (under cover) through the double doors closest to the "Blue Sky" mural painted on the building across from the ASUO Office Signs will be posted when the building closes Monday evening February 2. Anyone expecting to circumvent this plan will find little sympathy from those who have waited in line from early morning. All ticket sales of February 3 will be limited to EMU for both U of O students and general public sales. Beginning February 4 general public tickets only can be purchased at Toad Hall Hi Fi, Everybody's Records, and Bremen Town Records. U of O Students will be able to purchase two tickets with a currrent student fee card In addition, they will be able to reserve six additional tickets. Those six tickets must be reserved by name. Those tickets can only be claimed by the person named, with proper identification. Any U of O student wishing to purchase more than two tickets may purchase a maximum of six additional tickets at the higher (general public) price. Tickets will cost: $7.50 for U of 0 and $8.50 for General Public for seats on the main floor, bleachers, first and second balconies: &6.50 for U of O students and $7.50 for the general public for seats in the third balcony behind the stage. Phone orders and mail orders will be taken for bank cards and/or checks beginning at 5 pm on February 3 by call 686-4363. Stiner, a friend and supporter of the University. Julie Kennedy of Portland, John English of Redmond and Glen Davis of Tacoma, Wash., received $1000 each, which will help pay for their tuition and fees for this term and spring term. Stiner, a resident of Bakers field, Calif., donated the scholarship money to recognize the superior academic acheivement and campus invol vement of deserving students, Douglas Wilson University Foundation executive director said. Kennedy is a senior majoring in journalism. She has been a coordinator of recruitment and publicity for ESCAPE. English is a senior majoring in economics.
