"It is important to know what skills and inter ests a student has so he or she can choose the job that is satisfying.” The Fifth Annual Career Faire can help make that decision easier. Sponsored by the CPPS, the Alumni Association, the ASUO and Alpha Kappa Psi, the fair will be held in the EMU Ballroom Wednesday from 9:30 a m. to 3:30 p.m. Students will have the opportunity to talk infor mally with professionals in 52 career areas divided among 12 general career booths, says Chereck, the fair’s organizer. Sample questions will be passed out to students. "It’s a time for explora tion, where you can ask silly questions,” Chereck says. “It is not a job-recruiting situation.” Tables for campus or ganizations such as the ASUO, the Student Univer sity Relations Council and the Emerald will also be set up for students interested in campus activities that provide job experience. Many college students are naive about career matters such as job requirements and everyday work experience, says Chereck. “A big problem for students looking for a car eer is that they lack exper ience. “Work-related exper ience is more marketable to employers and opportuni ties for this already exist on campus." fMIMIMIMIMMIMEJMMo —HAVE ONE ON US— Buy one classified ad Get one FREE Emerald Office, 300 EMU UNION Light Set $13.95 , installed for $1.50 '3$246J8 o o o a r\ Classified COLLIES!
