A fellowship is available for a female Oregon resident who has received her bachelor's degree and has had at least two of paid or volunteer employment. The Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education offers two programs for graduate, undergraduate and professional students: Ethnic Studies In ternships and Economic Development In ternships. Interns are offered a monthly stipend to work for 12 or 36 weeks in an approved agency. No academic credits are offered but may be arranged by the student with the University.
