Bikes, cords ordered back The Consumer Product Safety Com mission has announced the recall of four products, including a brand of ten-speed bicycle and a faulty electric cord adap ter. The bicycles, sold through Coast to Coast stores after last January 1, con tain a pedal crank that could break and result in a serious injury to the rider. The navy blue "Coast King" men’s derailleur-type bicycles bear the model number C8798T on the left rear axle plate. Huffy Corporation of Dayton, Ohio, manufactures the 27-inch model subject to the recall. Doug Westra, manager of the Spring field Coast to Coast — the only such store in the area — said his store had not received any of the recalled model. Also being recalled are a batch of Black and Decker extension cord adap ters, which could have brass electrical contacts protruding through the molding insulating material. During these times when everything seems to cost you more for less, it's refreshing to find an honest to goodness real value And that's what our $299 music system is, a real value Not just on paper but also when you listen to it The story of this value begins with the Advent'3 loudspeaker system Adven| is the company whose name has become synonmous with ‘ more for your money " In fact, the Advent 3 is the least expensive speaker we know of with accurate, satisfying, wide range sound And because of its' relatively small size (approx imately 16''xl0''x7") it's very easy to fit into your room To find an economical stereo receiver and record changer that would do justice to the Advent 3s was not an easy task, but finally we chose the Sony ST R 1800 and Garrard 730. The attractive Sony STR 1800 receiver has plenty of good clean power along with the ability to clearly receive many AM and FM stations. Add to this plenty of extras like a tape deck input and you'll know why we chose it The Garrard 730 gives you the option ot either single-play or stacking your records Which ever you choose, you can count on re liable and convenient operation We think that many people who don't have a big budget for audio equipment will find that our $299 music system will make the difference between a passable stereo system and a really enjoyable one NO MONEY DOWN. $14.95 A MONTH* SAVE $73.95 A 1372.95 value it bought separately *299 SONY ADVENT GARRARD *on approved credit ust 24 pay ments of $14.95.
