JSU sponsors speech The Jewish Student Union/Hillel will sponsor Dr. Lee Neidengard, pediatrics and genetics specialist of the University Health Sciences Center, for a speech tonight at 8 EMU, room to be posted. Neidengard wiH discuss the Tay-Sachs disease, a recessive gene tic neurological disorder that is fatal in an afflicted child. Architecture lectures set The University architecture de partment is sponsoring a major lecture series for winter term cal led “Diversities of Architectural Practice” Wednesdays at 177 Lawrence, 7:30 p.m.. Lectures will be given by guests representing a broad spectrum of architectural specialities. The series is open to the public and is offered for graduate level credit. To provide the community, stu dents and professionals with al ternative approaches to architec ture and the architectural profes sion, the series will present a wide range of viewpoints concerning different modes of engaging ar chitectural issues in a profes sional sense. Tonight’s lecture has been postponed, and next week’s dis cussion is “Licensing Procedures for Diversities of Architecture Practice.” Landlords to join forces The Off-Campus Housing Office and the Office of Student Advo cacy (OSA) have united efforts to bring landlords in the University area together to discuss their rights and responsibilities to tenants through a workshop. Other topics include eviction procedures, landlord liabilities, de posits, fees, leases and periodic agreements. The workshop will be conducted by OSA attorney Charles Spinner, and Walter Pavlich, director of Off-Campus Housing. The discussion at 7:30 tonight in the EMU Ballroom will be followed by a question-answer period in which all students are invited to partici pate. Roy Mann Jr., Neil Wilson, Ed Kam merer and Marion Schrock, at 8 p.m. in Beall Concert Hall. West-Mann is a frequent re citalist in the Northwest with both vocalists and instrumentalists.
