All dressed up with nowhere to ghoul? For some of the best trick or treating results in town Monday night, ghosts and goblins, not to mention Frankenstein's daughter and Count Drac, will probably visit some of the local taverns. Not all taverns are promising great Halloween fanfares, but the ones that are may be worth haunting. Here’s a sample: The Place — Masqueraders are invited to enter the costume party and try for one of the prizes awarded for the most bizarre and innovative costumes. Members of the night's band, Fire and Ice, will judge and award prizes sometime between 11 and11:30 p.m. In addition, all drinks, even the mixed ones, will sell two for the price of one from 9 to 11 p.m. Murphy’s and Me — Masqueraders will be able to boogie to the tune of Wheatfield all night. Cash prizes of up to $50 will be awarded during the night. Cover will be at least $2, maybe more. Duffy’s — Anyone dressed in costume can sneak in without paying the $1 cover. Prizes will be aw&rded for about four of the best costumes. Also, pumpkin carving will be going all weekend, with final judging Monday night. All judging will be at about mid night.
