The students, in the graphic design section of the fine and applied arts department, have made the films as a terminal project. The films to be presented are “Counterpane,” “Unfolding” and “Riverman” by Ken O’Connell, “Song of Uranus” by Bruno George and R. Siegel, “As I Hear It” by Bob Morris and “The Supplicant” by John Ripper. Admission is free ESCAPE director position open ESCAPE announced Wednesday that the position of ESCAPE Director is open for applications. Applications and detailed in formation may be picked up from the ESCAPE Office, 327 EMU, this week and Monday. Deadline for returning applications is noon Monday. Interviews will be scheduled for finals week and the first week of Summer Term. The position is open to all students, graduate or undergraduate. The job requires a commitment to ESCAPE from Summer, 1S73 to the end of the 1973-74 academic year. Dellenback to answer questions Congressman John Dellenback will hold an informal question and answer session from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Friday in the EMU. The room will be posted. All students and faculty are welcome to come. ( Community White Bird opens pediatric clinic White Bird Clinic will open itsnewpediatric clinic at 6 p.m. tonight. Children from 2 to 14 years are welcome. A pediatrician and several sociomedical personnel from White Bird will be present to diagnose, treat and refer children’s medical problems and to discuss preventive care, nutritional and other information of interest to children and their parents. No appointment is necessary. CONTACT: Barbara Jo Winnock Addiction center needs new location White Bird Clinic has been offering alternatives to alienated youth suffering from drug problems for the past three years. In view of the fact that the use and abuse of hard drugs such as heroin is on the rise in this community, the Addiction Center was established February 1, 1973. The center is aimed at heroin, barbiturate and amphetamine abusers and offers a variety of services. These include live-in detoxification, on-going counseling, group therapy, vocational guidance and other rehabilitative services. According to White Bird the Addiction center at 837 Lincoln Street was just recently sold and the new owners have a specific use for the building. White Bird must relocate by June 10. Hiey are in need of a four or five bedroom home zoned R-P, R-4, or commercial. If you can help, call 342-8255 or 342-8953 and leave a message for Roberta Housen. Teenage job service organized SCORE — (Serving the Community and Offering Recreational Experiences) is a program for teenagers. The program, based in the youth-remodeled lounge area of the Westmoreland Community Center, is sponsored by the Eugene Parks and Recreation Depart ment. A job service is now being organized. A file system has been established in order to match youths with jobs as the requests v.ome in. SCORE has teenagers that are willing to do all kinds of jobs. Exam ples are babysitting, yard work, moving, painting, housework, dog and-or cat sitting, house repairs, janitorial work, gas station work, waitressing, bus boys or girls, tree planting, fruit and berry or vegetable picking.
