( Briefs . Meetings The University Sailing Club will hold a general meeting at 8 p.m. tonight in the EMU—room to be posted. New officers will be elected. All members and interested people are encouraged to attend. A short slide presentation will be shown regarding the team's effort at the Douglas Cup. There will be a Christian Science Testimony Meeting at 7 p.m. tonight in the Wesley Center All welcome. Also, Ms. Werdna Wyatt, Christian Science campus counselor has office hours 3 5 p.m. today in the EMU. All inquiries welcome. Alpha Kappa Psi, prefessional Business and Economic Fraternity, will hold a business meeting at 6:30 p.m. tonight in Room 239 Commonwealth. All Business and Economic majors are invited to attend. GSC will hold its first meeting for Winter Term at 11:30 a m. today in the EMU. Room to be posted. The agenda will include Executive Board reorganization, the cigarette tax, a Library committee report, the University budget cuts, increases in laundry prices in married student housing, and ASUO incidental fee budget. The University chapter of the Pacific Northwest Personnel Management Assn, will hold its first meeting of the Winter Quarter at 7 p.m tonight in the EMU. All interested students in Personnel or in the Institute of industrial Relations are invited to attend The University Obiectivist Discussion Group will meet Sunday at 7 p.m. in the EMU. There will be a meeting for all interested undergraduates and graduates with the style and substance committee of the Political Science Dep't to discuss the budget cut priorities. The first organizational meeting of Pi Kappa Phi will be held at 7 p.m. tonight in the EMU. Important Hawaii Club meeting 7 p.m. tonight in the EMU. Chalmers' speech will be the first of a weekly series of lectures to be offered winter term by faculty members of the School of Architecture and Allied Arts All talks will be scheduled at 4 :30 Friday afternoons in 177 Lawrence Hall. Films The 1971 72 International Film Festival will present a collection of ten prize winning short films from Yugoslavia at 7:30 p.m Friday in 180 PLC. They are: "The Wall"; 'The Fly"; "Boomerang"; "Diogenes, Perpaps"; "Little and Big"; "Tamer of Wild Horses"; "Tolerance"; "Curiosity"; "Dancing Songs"; and "La Peau De Chagrin." Auditions for the University Theatre production of Euripides' "The Trojan Woman" will be held at 7:30 p.m. tonight in the pocket Theatre, Villard Hall. Roles are available for eleven women, five men and one small boy. Prepared auditions are not necessary "The Trojan Women," which Edith Hamilton has called "the greatest piece of anti war literature there is in the world," exhibits and condemns the suffering and futility of war. The play will be presented March 2 4 and 8 11. Students are needed to observe in the Municipal Court Watching Project for one afternoon or morning next week.
