Seventy per cent of the schools have fewer than 1,000 students, 50 per cent have fewer than 750. The colleges are characterized as having unselective admission policies as reflected in their small enrollments and iower-than-average academic aability of their students They include teacher’s, black, Pretestant, and Roman Catholic schools.
