Briefs Meetings The fencing team will meet at 7 p.m. today in the EMU. All interested students are invited. People interested in keeping Mining in Three Sisters Off ("MITS Off"), should attend a meeting at 6 p.m. today in the EMU to plan a community campaign to support anti-mining bills now in Congress, and to develop more ideas. Students for McGovern will meet in conjunction with the Lane County McGovern Committee at 2 p.m. Saturday in Harris Hall, downtown Eugene. Paul Douglas, Deputy Attorney General of the United States under Robert Kennedy and National Chairman of Citizens for McGovern, will address the group. Blaine Whipple, Oregon's Democratic National Committeeman and chairman of Oregonians for McGovern, will also speak. The public is invited. There will be no admission charge.
