Campus news ASUO Senate to consider nerve gas resolution A resolution condemning the impending shipment of nerve gas into Oregon will be considered at tonight’s ASUO Senate meeting according to Senate president Jim Tiger. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in 101 EMU. Student unrest program to be televised A program dealing with war and student unrest will be televised over PL-3, the University’s television station tonight. Entitled “Interface: Our Community Faces the Issues,” the program is being sponsored by the Community Forum Information Center, the YMCA, and Student-Faculty Coalition, among others. It will be broadcast from 8 to 11 p.m., on Cable Channel 10. View ers interested in expressing their opinions or asking questions may call 342-1411, Ext. 2409, 2417, or 2411 during the program. Speech on international relations scheduled Kenneth Terhune wlli speak today, at 3:30 p.m. in Room 341 Com monwealth on “An Approach to Understanding Interpersonal and International Relations.” Dr. Terhune is presently an associate professor in the Department of Psychology at Clark University in Worchester, Massachusetts. His background experience includes such positions as research psy chologist for Cornell Aeronautical Lab at Cornell University, psy chology instructor at Princeton University, an engineer-psychologist statistician for the Chrysler Corporation, and as an engineer for Chrysler Corporation. His general research interest is in the study of cooperation and conflict with special attention to psychology of international relations. Dr. Terhune’s talk is sponsored by the Department of Psychology, CSPA, and the Oregon Research Institute. McCarthy to speak tonight in Portland Sen. Eugene McCarthy of Minnesota will speak tonight in Portland. McCarthy, 1968 Democratic Presidential candidate, will talk at 8:30 p.m in the Pamplin Sports Center on the campus of Lewis and Clark College.
