Campus happenings Today THE CHRISTIAN Science College Orangization will meet at 7 tonight in the Wesley Foundation Chapel. THE DEPARTMENT of psy chology is sponsoring a lecture by Donald Pfaff at 3:30 to day in 369 Condon. He will speak on “Olfactory and Hor monal Influences on the Basal Forebrain of the Male Rat.” THERE WILL be a public meeting at 8 tonight in Harris Hall, near the courthouse build ing at 8th Ave. and Oak St. to discuss the Sentinel Anti-Bal listic Missile System. Panel members will include Ed Stern, from Seattle, technical advisor to Sen. Jackson on the ABM system; Charles Schleicher from the political science depart ment; and Barry Seigel from the economics department. MEMBERS of the University Mother’s Club, campus branch, will meet at 12:15 p.m. today for a cafeteria-style luncheon in the EMU. Speaking will be Marian Miller, professor emeri tus of health education. Shirley Wilson, new dean of women will be special guest. A REVIEW and assessment of the International Business Cur riculum” will be discussed at seven tonight in the EMU. Spon sored by the Center for Inter national Business Students, the discussion is open to graduates and undergraduate students in international business and any one else interested. THE PEACE CORPS commit tee will have a table on the EMU terrace from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today. The Peace Corps Language Aptitude Test will be given at seven tonight in the EMU. PROF. PEARL will discuss his concept of “new careers for the poor” as an alternative to the welfare society. The talk will Johnson to speak to ROTC cadets Acting University President Charles Johnson will speak to day to ROTC cadets at their weekly leadership lab about leadership and higher education at 1:30 p.m. in 180 PLC. The class has been conducted by a series of speakers who have talked on different aspects of leadership. The speakers have come from all walks of life, including Eugene Mayor Les Anderson, R. McDuffie of Weyerhauser, and Chaplain Nel son from Adair Air Force Base. The cadets usually open the last ten minutes or more to dis cussion, centering on how these various phases of leadership ap ply to military. Twin productions shown today Two advanced directing proj ects, presentations of “The Sec ond Sheperd's Play” and Clif ford O'Det’s “Bedtime Story,” will be staged in Villard Hall's Pocket Playhouse at 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. today. “The Second Sheperd’s Play,” a medieval farce, will be direct ed by Meg Best, while “Bedtime Story” falls under the supervi sion of Jill Johnson.
