Campus Happenings Today A FREE PROGRAM of Ital ian and English music of the mid-16th century will be pre sented at 8 p.m. tonight in the School of Music recital hall. Two settings of “Te DeunT’ in English and Latin will open the concert. Instrumental music will be featured in the second section of the program, which will include a number of 16th century Italian dances. Also performed will be English con sort songs and Italian canzones or part-songs. THE ASUO SENATE will hold an informal meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. The room number will be posted. Future THE ASUO SOCIAL Division will present Rob Inglis in con cert at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the EMU. This Australian actor will perform a selection of Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales in 14th cen tury English and in a costume much like one Chaucer wore. Tickets are $1. THE UNIVERSITY Physics Department will present a public program concerning nu clear energy and its peaceful uses at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at South Eugene High School. Ri chard Thompson, visiting in structor of physics, will conduct the lecture-demonstration. HIKING, CAMPING, climb ing and instruction in all as pects of basic outdoor living is included in the Outdoor Program’s Smith Rocks over night camping trip, Oct. 26 and 27. A bring-your-own steak fry is also on the trip’s agenda. Participants should meet at the EMU turnaround.
