Senate to Discuss
Faculty Parley
The ASUO Senate will meet at
7:30 this evening to clarify its
thinking on the issues it will
take up with the Faculty-Senate
in their joint meeting Wednes
day.
The theme of the meeting was
set by a five-page guideline sheet
distributed to the senators at
their last meeting.
The guideline says, among
other things, “While some func
tions, such as the assignments
of grades, must be the respon
sibility of individual faculty
members, students ought to par
ticipate with the faculty in set
ting general policy concerning
grading systems and procedures,
and scholastic sanctions.’’
