The tie is the highest the University has ranged in re cent years at a national tour nament. The last time a debate team ranked as high was in 1965 when they placed in the top ten at West Point. Roberts and Mowe reached the octa-finals at the national tournament. They were the top ranked team with four wins and four losses. Report to be Made In Anderson Case A pre sentence report will be made on Howard Anderson, the University student who was con victed in District Court Thurs day for assault and battery against Associate Dean of Stu dents Philip Beal. The Emerald stated Friday that the report would be made on Beal’s background before Anderson’s sentencing.
