ride and square dance Saturday

ture-demonstration on Jewish
music. The dean, a pianist, will
join George Boughton, violinist,
in presenting Ernest Bloch’s
“Ball Shcm Suite.” Gabriel Cho
dos, pianist, will perform Bloch’s
“Prophetic Vision.”
Two additional programs will
be; included in the series. On Feb.
23, Sylvan N. Karchmer, profes
sor of English, will speak on “The
Jew in American Literature.” On
April 7 there will be an illustrat
ed slide lecture on Jewish cere
monial objects. The speaker will
be Rabbi William M. Kramer of
Loa Angeles. Tickets for the se
