LEON IIAYES had a hiff day for Oregon in the VVebfcots’ 19-0 win over Idaho. Hayes collected three h'ts in four times at bat and drove in five runs. DON KIKSCH's Webfoots mas sacred the Idaho Vandals 19-6 at Moscow. Earlier in the season the Ducks squeezed out two one run victories over the Vandals by scores of 8-7 and 2-1. Kirsch will prob ably start Denny Peterson (4-0 • against Steve Hinckley of Idaho. Peterson has no record in North ern Division play this year. BALLARD is the top ND hurl er with a 2-0 mark. IM Title Game Monday The 1961 Intramural softball championship game will be played Monday on the main IM field between Sheldon Hall and Sigma Phi Epsilon. Sheldon and Sig Ep rolled through league play undefeat ed and then won playoff games to reach the finals. The Sig Eps nosed out Phi Gamma Delta .j-3 on Thursday to earn the shot at Sheldon, which had clinched a berth earlier. Sheldon pummelled one of taeir playoff opponents, Gamma Hall, 23-0. Dietench, who has published more than 100 compositions, has been on the University of Ore gon Music Faculty since 1946. He is currently an assistant pro fessor of music at the University. HE RECEIVED his bachelor of music from Grinnell College, Grin ned, la., and his master of mu sic degree from the Eastman School of Music, Rochester, N.Y.
