Three spots open on Co-op Boord Nominations for three posts on the Co-op Board will be made Thursday at the annual meeting of members of the UO Co-op Store. Sophomores can be nominated for two two-year positions on the Board, and freshmen for one one-year post. Elections will be held at the time of the final ASUO election, April 29. The Co-op Board serves as the student-faculty group adminis tering and deciding the policies of the student store. A report on the year’s activities and the an nual discount to Co-op members will be made at the meeting. Potter visits here; disploys ceramics A highly-regarded potter from southern California, Peter Voul kos, is giving- daily demonstra tions in the campus pottery stu dio this week. Voulkos is head of the ce: amirs department at the Los Angeles County Art Institute. He is visiting here as a guest of the School of Architecture and Allied Arts. During his stay he will give demonstrations and work with pottery studehts week day mornings ancf afternoons. An exhibit of 25 pieces of ceramic work by Voulkos is being shown in the exhibition lobby of the architecture building. Voul kos won the only American gold medal at the international expo sition of ceramics at Cannes. France, in 1955.
