makes tax study
A tax study athored by Dean
Richard W. Lindhoim of the
School of Business Administra
tion will Is- used in a reconsidera
tion of the Michigan state tax
system.
Lindholm's study of business
taxes in Michigan is included in
papers prepared by tax experts
of our Michigan universities.
His findings Indicate a need
to guard against increasing taxes
on highly profitable business con
cerns and to “go easy” in taxing
newly-started businesses, thus
giving the latter time to build-up
needed capital.
