STIRRING SEQUEL New \Movie Highly Praised Note: Lengel couldn’t make it to the movies but he made it to a typewriter—result: By JOHN LENGEL, Emerald Entertainment Editor “Men in a Crevice,” an Alleged Artists’ production, is the stir ring sequel to an earlier Artists’ production. “Man in a Spillway.” “Crevice” again features the brilliant writing of Matt Maltby, Alphaholic Toast' To Be Named Saturday The "Toast of the Alphaholics” will be named from among five campus candidates at the hall dance Saturday night. Concerns Love Affair The plot, as put together by sage old Matt Maltby, concerns an illicit love triangle in Cut ’n Shoot, Texas. The love triangle features Hollywood acting veterans, Tac Courtney, Pebble Platte, and Tanya Nagurski, in their finest hour. A quick glimpse of the plot shows the trio wandering around the globe in pursuit of each other. Finally the heroine (Miss Na gurski), is kidnapped by 2,000 Cossack horseman, w'hile her ba nana boat lays over at Wake Island. Union Aids Courtney and Platte cleverly discover this and enlist the aid of the United Auto Workers union. The well-disciplined legions take their positions. Miss Nagurski is tied to a stake behind the Cossacks. Spread around her feet is a stack of Reader's Digests, ready to be lit. Legions Changed The legions charge on cue. A yawning crevice splits the battle field and swallows the thunder ing horde. Miss Nagurski unties herself and boards her banana boat. She returns to Cut ’n Texas, and opens a banana orchard. But still,1 she can think of nothing .. . but the men in the crevice. Switzerland Student To Speak To Groups Miss Marise Paschoud, a Lisle Fellowship representative from Switzerland, will visit on campus February 21-23.
