New Exec Council Members Interviewed (Continued from page onej The USA junior representative also expressed interest in the pos sibility of expansion of such intra mural activities as track, which has been tried only experimentally so far. Virginia Wright, sophomore rep resentative and USA member, urged the careful defining of pow ers of the Executive Council and the new Student Union Board, so that “final authority will rest with elected representatives.” More publicity on the council’s actions was urged by Miss Wright, so that student apathy and mis information regarding the group’s doings might be avoided. She ad ded that this could also serve as a check on ‘‘the possibility of the council’s playing politics.” ‘‘The council should be run for the good of the students rather than that of individual parties,” she asserted. Miss Wright also pledged her self to carry on the project of her predecessor, Ron Brown (particu larly boxes for student sugges tions), and to investigation of the honor system, with an eye toward its eventual installation here.
