'34 Students Make Perfect Grades; 225 Appear on Fall Honor Roll Thirty-four students made a 4.00 grade point average and 225 ap peared on the honor roll fall term, as issued by the registrar’s office Saturday. Soren U.O. to Release Book on Awards At Start of Week “Scholarships to the University of Oregon,” a publication listing all scholarships available to U.O. students, will be released the first of this week, Lyle Nelson, director of information, has announced. The book will name all scholar ships and awards, giving methods of applying, qualifications, and amounts, Nelson said. Several scholarships newr this year are included. Among these are four $500 awards given by Standard Oil of California to a student from each class. The Jo seph and Eva Zimmerman $500 scholarship will be awarded for the first time in fall, 1950, by the Scholarship Committee. “Such a publication has always been needed,” Nelson pointed out. “Never before has the list been so complete and so readily available.” The publication is a result of combining all committees concern ing scholarship into the single Scholarship and Financial Aid Committee, of which Karl On thank, director of the graduate placement service, is chairman. Palmer hopes to be able to arrange a spe cial taxi service to hotels and ante courts.
