He advertised himself in a film publication as 29, six feet tall, an engineering graduate, proficient dancer, kind, considerate, author of . eight film scenarios, unsold. "Disillusioned and tired of try ing to break Hollywood’s door and * I offer myself in matrimony for better or worse to any qualified wo man willing and able to furnish a $15,000 dowry,” says the ad, “I wish to continue my writing, free from . the pressure of frustration and pov erty . . These examinations will be given February 19 and 26, with the entry deadline set for February 5. The tests will cover vocational in terests and practical knowledge of advertising. Although the examina tion does not lead directly to jobs, the scores may be used in job appli cations. A fee of $15 will be charged for taking the application, which will be held in Portland. Further in formation may be procured from House and Leland, Portland. Weber Chosen Class Officer Bob Weber, junior in journalism, was appointed vice-president of the junior class yesterday after noon, filling the vacancy left by the recent resignation of Bill Du haime, former president, after which the vice-president assumed the higher office. Selection was made from peti tions by Malcolm MacGregor, pres ident; Sally Waller, secretary; and Sue Michel, treasurer. Weber is a member of Skull and Dagger, junior men’s honorary, Order of the O, and is past presi dent of Pi Kappa Alpha. Assisting the class president in the coordination of Junior Week end will be Weber’s chief task. IM Handball Results Dr. B. H.
