Although the exact arrival time isn’t known, a victorious Oregon football team will return to Eu gene today, sometime in the early afternoon. Duck fans have been requested to turn but in force to cheer them on to the Rose Bowl. These Three Paced Webfoots NORM VAN BROCKLIN quarterbacked his Oregon team like an All-American last night, leading the Bowl-bound Webfoots to a , smashing 2G-7 victory over UCLA Bruins. Phi Deits, Fijis, Stan Ray, Betas, Siama Chi, Du Win I -M Contests MONDAY’S SCHEDULE 8:50 SPE vs. Lambda Chi Sherry Koss vs. Betas 4 :S5 Delts vs. SAE C'herney vs. Legal Eagles 5:15 Kappa Sigma vs. ATO Wesley vs. Pi Kappa Alpha Action was limited to the “B” circuit yesterday, as intramural volleyball passed the halfway mark in the current season. Victors of all games posted rea sonably easy wins, as the Phi Delts stopped the Sammies, the Fijis rolled over Phi Sigma Kappa, Stan Ray hall knocked off Campbell club, and Sigma Chi flattened SAE. Delta Upsilon and the Betas both annexed forfeit victories, when Hunter hall and Sittzer hall failed to field teams. Sigma Chi stole the show from the other teams by turning in the first 15-0 round of the season, drubbing SAE 15-0 and 15-6. In the opener. Sigma Chis missed a perfect round by losing the serve one time about midway of the set. However, the second stanza was a different story as SAE moved out into the lead and held it until Sig ma Chi was able to organize its defense and stem the momentary threat. Depending heavily on outstand ing net play, the Phi Delts romped to a 15-7 and 15-2 triumph over Sigma Alpha Mu. The Sammies seemed to be over anxious as they consistently slammed the ball out of bounds at the far end of the court. The Fijis, led by the playmaking of Ray Hiedenrich, trounced Phi Sigma Kappa 15-2 and 15-8. The Fijis set up the play toward the center of the court where Hieden rich would slap a hot drive through the Phi Kap defenses. Hiedenrich’s line drive serves was also a defin ite factor figuring in the Fiji win. In the final game of the after noon, Stan Ray hall defeated a de termined, but undermanned Camp bell club squad 15-5 and 15-9. j ... . TWO BLASTING BACKS, Bob Sanders, above, and George Bell, below, paced their high-flying Oregon mates to an important PCC win last night. Sanders boomed for three touchdowns, and Bell went over for one more. Duck-Bruin Statistics Ore.
