Gor don Burbee is announcer and co directors- are Carol Jo Driskell and Jay Ryerse. The play features William Ire land and also his ghost. . William, who his literary-minded father considers a stupid dull boy, attempts to gain the love of his father by forging some Shakes peare. The forgery looks enough like the real thing to foci his father and a number of other literary ex perts. It doesn’t fool one expert, how ever, and the resulting investiga tion gives William a hectic time throughout the play. The voice of William’s “ghost,” incidentally, is ably portrayed by Bob Litten. In order to get the hoi low resounding sound necessary for a proper ghost, Litten talks in front of a waste paper basket with the mike inside.
