Professors to Give Papers at Conference xjl. fMcuruwsKi, associate professor of economics, F. J. Mas sey, assistant professor of mathe matics, and W. J. Dixon, associate professor of mathematics, will give papers on the University of Wash ington campus at a joint conference being held there by the Institute of Mathematical Statistics and the Bi ometric society, November 26 and 27. Dr. Szatrowski, who speaks on November 26, will talk on “Sta tionary Time Series Analysis and Common Stock Price Forecasting,” which will discuss the operations of the New York stock market. His paper will show some of the recent ly developed techniques in mathe matical statistics and how they can 4 p.m. — RED CROSS EXECU TIVE COUNCIL meeting in the of fice of Dr. Paul B.
