planners of the 29th annual Emer
ald picnic are now making prepara
tions for the gala event, according
to chairmen. Sunday, May 16, has

Boys against Bert Moore’s Mus
tangs in a football contest to be
held at the Meadows. The trainers
will choose teams at the picnic to
insure that no secret practices will
be held before the contest. Eligibil
ity slips for players may be ob
tained from the dean of men.
The chairmen, who are directing
plans from beneath typewriters at
the shack, have asked that all Em
erald workers sign up immediate
ly to facilitate the purchase of the
right amounts of food. The menu
has not been announced as yet, but
all the food will be edible, it was
announced yesterday.

Revision in Exam Schedule Seen
A typographical error in the final
examination schedule previously
released for spring term was cor
rected yesterday by Clifford Con
stance, associate registrar. The cor
rection changes the exam hour for
classes held at 11 Tuesday, Thurs
day, and Saturday to 10-12 a.m.
Thursday, June 10, rather than 8-10
a.m.
