There are a num ber of new names to be added to the list, but since all the space on the plaque is full, the entire list will be reprinted. Before this is done, the Alumni office requests that students report the names not appearing on the plaque at prec ; ent of former Oregon students who have been killed in World War II, where they were killed, their rank, and any other information in order that the reprinting will be as com plete as possible. Students may report new infor mation at Hoorn 8, Friendly hall either in person or by letter. Sometime in the future a per manent memorial will replace the plaque as a reminder of former students who have given their lives in military service. Over a thousand dollars has already been collected toward this end. • CLASSIFIED ADS LOST: Brown leather jacket. Ed Goffard, Zeta hall, Phone 3300, ext. 270. Tom Riley's Predictions^ By TOM RILEY The gridiron menu is very tasty and complicated this week, but 111 tr yto make it as appealing as I can. Oregon vs Oregon State should be a very interesting game this Saturday. The only clod I can see in the Lemon and Green’s way, is the weather. Providing the turf is in good shape, the final score could end' up like this: Oregon 27, Oregon State 6. Washington vs Washington States is a game a lot of fans will pick the Northern champ from, at least that’s what they think! Washington State is entering the game as the favorite because of their twin victories. The Uni versity of Washington has split even on their two occasions. After taking in consideration the tt?3$B5 each school has played, I believe the University of Washington will win by seven points. This weeks big surprise game! The Uclans from Los Angeles have been playing enough good ball of late to off set California this week, by six points. The number four team in the nation U.S.C. should move up a notch when they down the San Diego Navy by 13 points. Notre Dame proved themselves capable of any competition when they slaughtered (|sorgia Tech, last week; so Dartmouth shouldn’t feel too bad if they find 21 points between themselves and victory. Army vs Michigan University. Army hasn’t been beaten for so long that I don’t think they’ll let Michigan interfere with this cord. Navy's surprise 21-0 win over Duke last week gives them the right to down Penn State. Duke vs Wake Forrest will in many ways determine a good deal the power of the eastern teams. Duke should take this on easily. Now to wind up this week’s predictions I add these. Ohio State over Wisconsin. St. Mary’s to top College of Pacific. That’s it for this week.
