FRED “HAPPY” LEE . . . . . . is a speedy Chinese guard who is slated to see much action for Oregon State in tonight’s game. By BOB STILES The Webfoots are in the most lowly position for an Oregon quintet in the past 11 years. They have won only 1 out of 5 games played so far and unless they do better than they have they may end the season in the league cellar. This would be the first cellar finish since the team of 1933 finished there. YVX1C11 UlCgUU LO.ii.CS> LUC IIUUI cl L Corvallis they will be a speedier team than the one that played the Huskies. To do this Hobson re moved Guard Bill Phillipjs ,and Center Wally Borrevik from the starting lineup. Taking- their places will be George Bray, who moves from forward, at center and Norm Henwood at guard. The rest of the starting team will be Ernie Danner and Bob Caviness as forwards, and Bob Hamilton at guard. High scorers for the Webfonts are Hamilton with 56 points in 5 games and Phillips has 38, also in 5 games. Although Phillips is the second high scorer for the team and scored 17 points the other night he will be benched be «iwise of the poor defensive job he did in the last) Washington game. Tonight’s game should be a game that will interest everyone. The Beavers have a much better team now than they had when the Ducks defeated them and it is ex pected that the game will be a great struggle with neither team winning by a large margin.
