The questions are many and varied, Walker de clared, and remembered that he was asked “what the difference was between a fraternity and so rority.” The success of so many of his meetings with future students Walker declared, depended upon the following Webfoots who ar ranged the meetings: Roy See borg, Astoria; John Busterud and 17 Bill Huggins, Marshfield; Virgin ia Wells, Oregon City; Wally Hunter, Albany; Betty Bevil and Sally Childs, Hood River; Russ Hudson, The Dalles; Betty Hoge and Paul Basche, Baker; Carolyn Cordon, Roseburg; Bob Newland, Pat Farrell, Leighton Platt, Med ford; Elsie Brownell and Fred Treadgold, Grants Pass; Dave Fortmiller and Jean Frideger, Ashland; Phyllis Foster and Jim Burness, Klamath Falls; Jeff Kitchen and Janet Farnham, Bend; Bud Vandeneynde and Mary Jane Simmons, Salem. Anderson Appointed Les Anderson, ASUO president, will take on the additional duties of Oregon federation director for the rest of the summer. Anderson will succeed Don Walker, graduate law student, who handled the position until his induction into the army Wed nesday, August 12. Several trips throughout the state are planned by the new di rector including meetings at Sa lem, Roseburg, and the Jantzen beach picnic August 31.
