Queen
Annabelle Dow
White organza in full-skirted
princess style with eyelet em
broidery at the waistline and lace
inset ballon sleeves will set off
Annabelle Dow’s dark radiance
Friday night when the queen’s
coronet is placed on her shining
brown curls.
Her brown eyes lustrous with
happiness, Queen Annabelle I will
rule over the canoe fete in white
satin with an elaborate colored
inset at the neck and a drape in
variegated shades of purple and
lavender around the hips.
Her majesty is 5 feet 6, 20
years old, and weighs 120 pounds.
She will be escorted to the Junior
Prom by Prime Minister Cullen
Murphy and boy friend A1 Silver
nail. <■
Princess
Helen Angeil
A statuesque t i t i a n - haired
beauty is Helen Angeil, whose
friendly blue eyes and gracious
ways make her a truly* regal
member of the Junior Weekend
court.
The tall and lovely 20-year-old
princess is from Fossil. She is
5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs
127 pounds. Like Princess Bar
bara Neu, Helen will don an
orchid organza frock for daytime
events and a purple skirt and
white full-sleeved blouse for even
ing affairs.
Jeff Kitchen will be Princess
Helen’s escort to the Junior Prom
and other weekend festivities.
Princess
Barbara Todd
This year’s Junior Weekend
court is graced by two beauteous
Barbaras, both of equal loveli
ness and equal height—5 feet 6
inches—but there the similarity
ceases.
Barbara Todd is a dark brun
ette, a brown-haired, brown-eyed,
and olive-skinned — the outdoor
type. This 20-year-old princess
will wear green organza to in
formal daytime functions and a
fr
gold-skirted frock to evening
affairs.
Although she is from Palo
Alto, Barbara “doesn’t mind Ore
gon rain at all—except on Junior
Weekend.” "Porky” Andrews,
Webfoot basketball captain, will
be Princess Barbara’s dancing
partner Friday evening.
Princess
Barbara Neu
In her orchid organza frock
with its brightly painted bolero,
a purple turban resting lightly on
her smooth fair locks, sophis
ticated Barbara Neu will look
through laughing gray eyes at
Oregon’s Junior Weekend festiv
ities.
Winsome Barbara is a native
Portlander and has lived there
all her life. She is 20 years old
and 5 feet 6 inches tall, and is
the Junior Weekend court’s only
blonde.
Princess Barbara’s Junior
Weekend escort will be Norm
Foster.
Princess
Jean Burt
Smallest and youngest Junior
Weekend princess is dainty Jean
Burt, who is 19 years old, five
feet five inches tall, and weighs
116 pounds.
“Friendly femininity” are the
words for Je^n. Crinkly blue eyes,
curly light brown hair, and a
winning smile will make her truly
charming in her apple green or
ganza daytime costume and her
gold evening frock.
Princess Jean lives in Eugene.
She will dance at the Junior
Prom with Jim Carney.
