STUDENT TO INSTRUCT CLASSES IN CHINESE Chinese come to America to learn English but a most interesting re verse of thiB proceedure is the re cent announcement of Jackson Liu, B. A., graduate of Canton Christian College, that he will staTt a pri vate class in Chinese larfguage on. the campus. Mr. Liu is at present registered as a graduate student in education at tile University. No definite ar rangements have yet been made as to honrs or mass room, but anyone interested can get in touch with Mr. Liu by phoning 899 before 8:00 o’clock in the mornings, at lunch time and after dinner. Small, formerly as sistant professor of mathematics at the University of Oregon, has been appointed assistant professor of pure mathematics at' the University of Texas, in Austin, Texas.
