Hast Eugene, Oregon Confidence A word more important today ip business, profess ional or political world than ever before. No person, institution or government can succeed without it. We say then that the fundamental principle of success is confidence, which is what we have endeavored to es tablish in the minds of our patrons towards this busi ness, and we believe our success has been largely due to having this confidence. AVe believe the confidence which you have placed in this institution more highly than anv other asset we have, and our purpose now, as always, is to give service and merchandise of quality that will still further in crease that confidence. Tt is a mighty easy thing to show comparative prices at this time, because for four years merchandise has not had an intrinsic value; so for’the present, we are going iio discontinue showing comparative prices in all our advertisements, because they might be misleading al though literally compared to prices prevailing during the past three years, true. When prices are quoted you may be assured thev will have real merit and the mer chandise will be dependable and oi the kind and quality to retain your confidence. nf/Sl . r s r ret er o gjh Colds Laxacold Tablets and Nyal Gough Syrup for relief. 25c and 50c | .
