A special meeting of the Junior class was held yesterday in Deady hall in order to complete preliminary arrangements for the Annual Fresh man-Sophomore mix. It was definitely decided that Sat urday, the twenty-eighth of this month, was the most feasible date for the contest and, unless some hitch oc curs in the negotiations for the push ball, the two rival classes will clash that afternoon. President Stannard, who has been conducting the negotia tions for the huge spheroid, an nounced that this part of the affair was progressing favorably. A committee of five was appointed by the president to conduct the tangle for the .Juniors. Wallace Benson was put in charge of the pushball contest. He will make the complete arrange ments for conducting this event. Bob Bradshaw will stage the track and field events, selecting several assist ants to handle the embyronic sprint ers. Dutch Young will head a committee who will judge the respective merits of the two classes as to lung capacity and originality shown in costumes and decorations. Turpening will conduct the tug-of-war, and Charles Fowler will see that the field officials are properly tagged and numbered. These men will all have the power of enlist ing aid, and most of the upperclass men will undoubtedly be asked to act in the capacity of “cops” and detec tives ,according to the precedent set by Jamison’s band. It was also decided that the “14” sign, which stands above the “O” on Skinner’s Butte, should be removed. The sign is painted in yellow on the base of the old building above the “O.” The Junior class of the Univer sity did not authorize the placing of their numeral, so in fairness to them selves and to the University ordered it removed. MORE BUYERS WANTED FOR SEASON TICKETS The campaign launched by Grad uate Manager Geary for the selling of season tickets, good for admission to all inter-collegiate athletic and for ensic contests held on the campus, is not progressing as rapidly as was expected. Owing to the rush and ex citement of registration, many have passed up the chance of saving seven dollars by taking immediate advant age of this offer. According to Man ager Geary, the total of single ad mission fees to all campus attractions scheduled to take place the coming year would be nearly twelve dollars, and as the season ticket is selling for $5.00, it is thought that as soon as this fact becomes generally under stood, there will be a heavy run on the box-office. All students will have a chance to obtain this reduction, and those not discovered by a member of the ticket selling squad, are urgently requested by the management to report at Geary’s headquarters in the men’s gym. Lists, to be signed by prospective buyers, have been sent to the differ ent fraternities and sororities, and posted throughout the various college buildings. Kellogg Coaches Preppers.
