The indoor meet which was pulled off Wednesday night, although at tended by only about twenty-five or thirty college people, was a big suc cess from the spectator’s point of view. Most of the events paralleled closely the work that is being done on the outdoor track. In the obstacle race, however, fun in large bunches was dished out to the spectators, and the bantam-weight boxing match be tween Buford Jones and Woo Sun proved the headline attraction of the evening. The bout was declared a draw' by Referee Eddie Graney Rob erts. In the matter of capturing points, Briedwell pulled out on top with two firsts in the 30 yards and 100 yards dashes, and with a tie for first in the broad jump. Benny Williams, pre mier pole vaulter of the Northwest, set a new indoor record at Oregon, when he topped the bar at 11 feet 2 inches. Obstacle Race a Feature. The obstacle race drew more en tries than any other one event and was one of the best fea'ures of the evening. The house was brought to its feet, however, when Billikin Hawkins be came stuck in his barrel and was re leased only by the timely bursting of the hoops. The schedule of events and contest ants was as follows: 30 yards dash—Briedwell, first, Hawley, second. 100 yards dash—Briedwell, first, Morton, second. ) 300 yards dash—Oberteuffer, first, Peffley, second. 600 yards run—Boylen, first, Martz loff, second, Peffley, third. High dive—Ford and Olson, tied. High jump—Stuller and Hawkins, tied for first, Benson, third. Pole vault—Williams, first, Watson, second. Obstacle race—Neill. Middleweight wrestling—King and Ingle, no decision. Boxing, bantamweights—Woo Sun and Buford Jones, draw. Leightweight—Miller and Young, draw. Middleweight—Hardesty and Mc Millen, draw.
