Jackson Columbus Stephen, Jackson 03, died Sunday at Rogue Val ley Memorial Hospital in Med ford following a prolonged ill ness. He had been a patient in a Jacksonville convalescent home for the past 13 years Jackson moved to the Drew area during the 1930's and was employed by the US Forest Service at 'filler until his health failed. He was born at Silver Lake in northern Lane county on Jan. 7. 1900. Survivors include three brothers residing in Ore gon and California; three sons, Roy and Charles of Drew and Lester of California: and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the Community Church at Ft. Klamath at 1 p.m. on Fri day with burial in the Ft. Klam ath Cemetery. Mathew Leinonen Mathew (Matt) Leinoinen, 88 of Koschurg died Sunday at a Roseburg hospital following a prolonged illness. Mr. Leinonen was born Nov 1. 1875 in Oulu, Finland. He had lived in the Roseburg area lor the past 14 years, moving here from Minneapolis. Minn. He was married to Anna Lalli in Menahga, Minn, in 1898. Mr Leinonen was a member of the Lutheran Church, lie was a re tired farmer. Mr. Leinonen is survived by his wife Anna of Roseburg, two daughters, Mrs. Hilda Tcrho of Roseburg, Miss Mnri Leinonen of Seattle, Wash.; six sons, Ja cob of Seattle, John of Gulala, Calif., Elbert of Minneapolis Minn., Emil: Edward both of Seattle, Wennard of Roseburg; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses Friday at 11 a.m. with Allen G. Ingebritscn, Pastor of the Faith Lutheran Church officiating. Private committal services and interment will follow at the Roseburg Memorial Gardens. Stolen Auto Recovered An automobile registered to Dennis Root, 846 SE Brockway Ave., Roseburg, reported stolen to Roseburg City Police early Sunday, has been located by state police. It was found about 5:10 p.m. near Wilbur, in run ning condition. Park G. Paige Park G. Paige, 87, a resident of Loup City, Neb. died Sunday at u Roseburg hospital follow ing a short illness. Paige was born March 31 1876 in Indiana. He had lived in the Roseburg area for the past five weeks coming here from Nebraska. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Paige is survived by three sons, Alonzo Paige of Loup City Neb.; Harold Paige, of Grand Island, Neb., Elbridge Paige of Roseburg; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Franseth of Red Bluff, Calif., Mrs. Florence Nelson, of Camas, Wash.: nine grand children and six great grand- children. The body is being shipped to the Steele Funeral Home in Loup City, Neb. for funeral services and interment'. Wilson's Chapel of the Roses is in charge of local arrange ments. Arthur Marsh Arthur II. Marsh, well-known Lookingglass orcliardist, died at a Roseburg hospital Sunday. Fu neral services are pending at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses.
