The tragic death pf John F. Kennedy and : the -wounding- of Texas Governor John Connolly by an assassin's bullets in Dallas, Texas, brought grief to millions of people, not only in the United States, but , throughout the entire world. The subsequent slaying of the suspected assassin by .a Dallas night club operator while millions watched on television sets, added further' impact to .the history-making event.
