Bailiss was celebrated Oct. 20 at a reception at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rice. The couple was married Oct. 16. 1912, in Pomeroy, Wash. Bail iss was celebrated at a delight' ful reception held Sunday at the homo of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rice. Tho couple was married Oct. 16, 1012, in Pomeroy Wash. For the occasion Mrs. Bailiss wore a becoming lace dress trimmed with satin. Her cor sage was a cluster of carna tions. Dominating the beautifully ap- pointed serving table was the Mrs. Savage Club Hostess Mrs. Robert H. Savage was1 most gracious hostess Wed ncsday, when she entertained at a charming 12:30 noon lunch' eon at her beautiful home on SE Claire St. A gorgeous ar rangement of white chrysanthe mums graced the serving ta ble, while gold-colored chrysan themums were used in the liv ing room. Covers were placed for Mrs, Kenneth Bailey, Mrs. Edward M. Murphy, Mrs A BEAUTIFUL BRIDE of Oct. 18 was Sally Jo Myers of Springfield, daughter of Mrs. Earl M. Preston. of Springfield and the late Edwin Myers of Roseburg, who was married to Darrel Taze Stafek, son of Mr. ond Mrs. R. L, Stafek of Salem. The wedding took' place at Ebbert Memorial Methodist Church in Springfield. The couple will reside at 5292 Main, Apt. 7, Springfield. Sally Jo Myers Now Mrs. Stafek The day marking the 53rd wedding anniversary of the bride's maternal grandparents was the day chosen by Sally Jo Myers of Springfield for her marriage to Darrel Taze Stafek of Salem. The date, Oct. 18, was also the 15th anniversary of the wedding of the bride's uncle and aunt. . The wedding took place at 7:30 p.m. at Ebbert Memorial Methodist Church in Spring field, the Rev. C. T. Barton, uncle of the bridegroom, per forming the double ring cere mony The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Earl Preston of Spring- Twins Kim and Karen Matuli of Lebanon were flowor girls. They and the candlclighters wore cranberry faille dresses similar to those worn by the bride's attendants. The duties of best man were performed by Jerry Stafek, brother of the bridegroom. The bridegroom's fraternity broth ers, Dennis Spitzo of Nyssa and Gail McCarty of John Day, were ushers. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Preston wore a smart pur ple and moss green silk print dress with ,moss green acces sories and a green orchid cor sage.
