Hurd entertained at a charming bridal shower Tuesday evening at the former's attractive home on SE Main St. in compliment to Miss Gayle Harris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Harris, whose marriage will be an event of July 13. Gorgeous arrangements of roses, sweetpeas and Esther Reed daisies formed the room decorations. The buffet table was decorated in the bride's chosen colors of her wed ding, pink and green. Cecil Brun-: ner roses, flanked by pale green candles graced the - table, . which was covered by a pink net cloth. Host esses for the evening were Mrs. Claude Buck, Mrs. Gene Sneed and Mrs. Norman Rydell. The hall was beautifully decorated with pink and lavender flowers. A beautiful three tiered cake had been made by Shirley Baimbridge. Mrs. Carl Grimsrud sang two numbers, accompanied by her daughter, Sue. A omedy skit was given by Bonnie Sneed and Clau dine Rydell followed by the guest of honor opening her many love ly gifts assisted by Mrs. Robert Billick. Twenty-five guests were present. FOREST KENNADAY of Glide cele brated their 25th wedding anniversary at an open house ot the Glide Community Holl with Mrs. Jim Marier, Mrs. Lincoln Kennaday ond Mrs. Earl Romsey presiding os hostesses. Mixed flowers formed the decorations. The two and half foot high anniversary cake was topped by a silver "25." Mrs. Marier baked the cake.
