Doerner Road A fire last week totally destroyed . a barn belonging to Mr. and Mrs. Don Moore on Doerner Road. Cause I of the blaze is unknown. Mrs. I Moore and children were in the house at the time. The DKPA was i called. A rototiller, lawn mower 1 and several other items were in the barn, which was insured. Father Oiti Mrs. Clyde Kinyon has returned from a trip to Martinez, Calif., where she was called by the death of her father, Clement Allarci, who died Memorial Day. His body was taken to Sioux City, Iowa, for bur ial. Mrs. Kinyon visited in Sacra mento with her daughter, Mrs. Faye Curry, and family. Dennis Mask of Reedsport is vis iting his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Walter .Mask. Mr. and Mrs. George Grubb and family spent several days this week in Baker with the former's father, who is seriously ill. Weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Stewart and children were his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and .Mrs. Glen Stewart and three children of Bend. They also visited other relatives in the area. Bert Young drove to Grants Pass Wednesday to attend to business. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Miller and Bill attended graduation exercises at Myrtle Point at which time the Millers' niece was graduated. They attended a picnic at Bandon with friends and relatives and later vis ited at Coquille with Mrs. Miller's brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. A. Caudle. Mrs. Carl Backlund visited re cently in North Plains with her daughter, Mrs. Walter Oliver, and family.
