He said the recent coup in Seoul established 'a regime of open military-Fascist dictatorship." Object of the search was Den ise Sullivan, 15, of Rockville, Conn., and the man who kidnaped her after killing her mother, Jean- nette Sullivan, 41, and seriously wounding their traveling compan ion, Charles Boothroyd, 55, also of Rockville. The Federal Bureau of Investi gation entered the manhunt on Wednesday, and Grand County Sheriff John Stocks said officers fear the girl may not be alive. "He's not going to leave that girl alive to testify against him," the sheriff said. He estimated her chances for life at one in 100. ' Boothroyd was flown to Salt Lake City where he underwent surgery for removal of two .22 caliber slugs from his face. He was in fair condition. While the search fur the murderer-kidnaper spread into near by Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona, officers continued to con centrate in the Arches National Monument section north of Moab. They said if the fugitive is still in southeastern Utah the country will eventually prove to be on the side of the hunters. It is rocky, barren, and cut by deep canyons. Officers know where there is water. If the fleeing man also knows, he may be trapped at a water hole. If he is a stranger, he may find himself and his young girl hostage dying of thirst. The dog took over the job of suckling two baby kittens from fheir mother, who is shown casually looking on. Mama cat has several other kittens to worry about. The Wiltons now have a grand totol of 15 cats. Three mother cats, who have all had kittens, actually belong to the Wilton's three children, John, 13, Doreen, 9 and Dean, 5. Idaho (AP) The' bell tolled today fur lamed author Krnest Hemingway who was to be laid to rest in a tiny well kept cemetery in the' heart of the hunt ine; valleys he chose as his home. Members of the family planned to gather in the cemetery to meet the hearse carrying the dark gray metal casket The Hemingway home overlooks the little valley where the grave was dug Tuesday for the 61-year-old Nobel and Pulitzer prize win ner. Hemingway died Sunday of a shotgun blast in the head. It was ruled self-inflicted. But authorities made no determination as to wheth er it was accidental or on purpose. The Rev. Robert J. Waldmann. pastor of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church at nearby Mm val ley, will conduct the simple riles. He said there would be no eulogy, but a meditation on death. The only time Hemingway's name was ! to be mentioned was in the closing i prayers. The author's fourth wife, fondly j known as Miss' Mary, will make! her first appearance since the death. She has kept isolated in the house while members of the i family made the sad journey to; this southeastern Idaho resort area; for the funeral of the writer whose ; tempestuous life was mirrored in 1 his famous hooks. The family which includes three sons, a brother and three sisters was together for the first time in 30 years.
