Cimpour Held Several members of 'the Glen dale Boy Scout Troop 16 accompan ied their leader. Bob Thompson, on a camp out about six miles up Windy Creek -last weekend. The boys did trail work and compass work and each did his own cooking. Those making the trip were Joe Apperson, Frank Elst, Darly Close, Loren Johnson, Kieliard bwanson. Charles Ruckcr, Rickie Major, and Scoutmaster Thompson. Thompson reported that the troop has ordered ! six new camping tents for use on future camping expeditions. i Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ward of 1 Klamath. Calif., former Glendala ! residents, recently visited with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Phillips, and family in Glendale. Barbara Phillips recently attend ' ed the Oregon-Idaho day open house at Conqueror's Bible College in Portland. She was driven to -u-gene by her parents, where she ; spent the night at the home of the Rev. and Mrs. Ed Kearney, before going on to Portland. The ; Kearneys brought JUiss runups back to Glendale. Mrs. Oliver Dodson of Rosedale. He was married and the father of three children. Whitted, a choker setter, was adjusting a line being used to pull logs from a cold deck on Stell Creek about 17 miles southeast of here. .. Mrs. Kline's husband is head of the University of Pittsburgh's geography department. Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Clark and son of Boron, Calif., recently pur chased the Dale Oxford ranch on Upper Cow Creek and have moved into their new home. Clark is a retired businessman and Mrs. Clark is a registered nurse.
