Umbrella favors and seasonal flower arrangements emphasized by all clubs and distributed by Hie Grants Pass club, preceded a short musical program by Sherrie and Cindy Falk at the piano. Breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Sunday began the morning session of the conference, the main feature be ing Mildred Yetter of Salem mod erating her "Powerful Panel" in cluding Krma Ferguson of McMinn ville, Lucile Norton, of Eugene and Fera Trull of Grants Pass, well- known national international re lations chairman. The Medford club made the programs. The banquet was served by the ladies of the Canyonville We.sleyan Guild and the breakfast by the social club of Oregon Chapter or.s. Mrs. fergu program. It was decided to invite heads of other organizations to meet with the group in order that the Newcomers Club members may learn more about Roseburg and what it has to offer. The ob ject of the club is to welcome new women residents and to help them become acquainted more quickly through mutual association at meetings. Mrs. Petersen' and Mrs. Bowker are advisors of the group and can be contacted for any additional in formation. The next meeting will be a 12:39 o'clock no-hostess luncheon Tues- board, read a letter from t h e day, April 28, at the Rose Hotel. MNO Glub Has Two Fine Affairs During Week. The Riversdale MNO Club met Saturday evening by members of Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Kenneth Smith on Fish er Road. A jewelry exchange was enjoyed and a plant auction was held. The remainder of the eve ning was spent in visiting and games. Mrs. Smith served delicious re freshments at the close of the eve ning to Mrs. R. S. Kosmicki and Miss Sharon Bloom, guests, and to members, Mrs. II. W. Conn, Mrs. Don Guiley, Mrs. Howard Whitlen, Mrs. L. D. Bloom, Mrs. Jack Den ton. Mrs. Don Harmon, Mrs. Bill Matthews, Mrs. Kenneth Hebard, Mrs. Darwin Lee, Mrs. Dick Stark, Mrs. L. W. Cottrell, Mrs. J. M. Burkhart, Mrs. Argus Fisher, Mrs. Don Kruse. Mixed games were in play with prizes awarded at the close of the evening.
