The youth, arrested by a deputy sheriff, was booked am a charge of burglary in a dwelling. Two others, Floyd R. Burkhart, 19. Rt, 4 Box 935, Roseburg. and Henry Alvin Holloway, 23, Winston, face similar charges. Burkhart and Holloway waived preliminary hearings Thursday in district court and were bound over to the grand jury. They are ac cused, along with the 14-year-old. of breaking into a house owned by George Smith on Wildcat Road, Camas Valley, on Jan. 28. The series of arrests started when two Reston area boys, 1 and 17, were taken into custody on a larceny charge. They are ac cused of stealing a set of tractor tracks valued at S500 to 1700 and selling them for $3 72 as scrap metal. From information gained from the boys, deputies gathered in the other suspects. Burkhart also has been bound over to the grand jury on a larceny charge in con nection with the tractor parts men. iiouoway originally was booked on the same charge but it was changed to burglary.
