Mr. and Mrs. Paul McGowan have returned to their home in Burbank, Calif., following a visit in Roseburg with the former's mother, Mrs. P. B. (Ella) McGow an. Mr. McGowan spent a part of the summer in New York attend ing to business for the company which employes him. The McGow ans' daughter, Joyce, was gradu ated this spring from high school. The family formerly resided in Roseburg. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard W. Riley of this city drove to Medford to day to attend the Johnson - Carr wedding. Dr. and Mrs. C. W. Hartman of Coos Bay visited here one day last week with Mrs. Mary Doughton, niece of Mrs. Hartman. Sarah Annette Skinner left Sat urday for Eugene to enter her sophomore year at University of, Oregon. Miss Skinner is the daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Otis Skinner. Miss Marion Davis, who has been visiting from New Zealand, is re turning to Norfolk, N.Z. by Pan American Air Lines. After visit ing here, she flew to Augusta, Ga. for a visit and only recently left San Francisco by Pan American for Honolulu and New Zealand. Miss Davis formerly made her home in Roseburg.
