cry Club met Wednesday at the
home of Mrs. Edward Deal on
Flint Street.
A picnic dinner was enjoyed at
12:30 in the rumpus room. The
business meeting followed and sew
ing and visiting completed an en
joyable afternoon.
Those enjoying the afternoon with

enjoyed. High scores were held by
Mrs. Vera Bacon and Herman
Schosso and low by Alva Manning
and Mrs. Lamoreaux. Sweeps priz
es were won by Mrs. Doris Bacon
and Mr. Alfred Hand. Refresh
ments were served at a late hour.

Alpha Chi Chapter, Epsilon Sig
ma Alpha, met J'liursouy evening
at the home of Mrs. Donald Stnrm
er, Winchester Avenue, with presi
dent Mrs. Loon Hughes in charge.
Several items of business were
discussed. Mrs. Floyd Walker, Mrs.
John Jones and Mrs. Jack Fread
will have the educational program
at the next meeting. The theme will
be "Geraniums."
After the meeting, card games
were enjoyed, followed by refresh
ments served by tho hostess to

PICNIC ON SUNDAY

who are spending the fire season

Callahan Trail at Melrose, enter

station.

held a regular meeting Tuesday
evening at the Glendale IOOF Hall.

The club's sewing group met at

Thursday. Seven were present to
finish four scrapbooks to he given
to a children's hospital. A potluck
luncheon was served at noon.
