Jack Chapman installed the fol lowing officers for 1957-58: Presi dent, Mrs. William Green; first vice president, Mrs. Harry Sanislo; second vice president, Mrs. M. L. McClain; secretary, Mrs. Jo Sojka; treasurer, Mrs. J. W. Butts. Mrs. Dick DeBernardi is outgoing president. The program was provided by members of the school evalua tion committee with a question answer period following. Harold Schmeer, chairman of the teering committee, together with Mrs. Jack Chapman and Mrs. Glen Scott, were members of the panel. GEORGE CORNISHES HOST RECENT PICNIC DINNER Mr. and Mrs. George Cornish of Roseburg were host and hostess at 1 picnic Sunday in honor of the former'! daughter. Miss Judy Lounsbury, who was home over the weekend from Portland; and Lafe Ralsten of Susanvilre, Calif. Other guests enjoying the picnic dinner at the Rod and Gun Club were Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Cornish and Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Cornish from Sutherlin. IVAN MATTHEWS FAMILY HONORED AT DINNER PARTY A lovely dinner was given Sun day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Matthews on the Reston Road honoring their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Mat thews, who plan to leave soon for Fairbanks, Alaska, for a visit with his brother and family. Those enjoying the day were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Matthews, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Kenworthy, Saun dra and Kay; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Becker, Anita and Rodney; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Willis and Dickie; Marshall and Douglas Matthews, and the guests of honor, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Matthews, Clark and Rickey. WIENER ROAST ENJOYED BY CHURCH GROUP MONDAY The Camas Valley MYF and their sponsors, Mr. and Mrs. J. Clyde Akey, entertained the Missionary Church Association youth group with the Rev. Mr. Morange and the Rev. and Mrs. Todd as guest at a wiener roast Sunday evening pre ceding the meeting of the youth groups. Present for the occasion were MYF member! Phylliss Schmidt, John Wheeler, Ray Looney, Wy oma Pasco, Bob Thrush, Judy Milton, Dwain Brown, Maxine Dan cer, Mary White, and J r r y Akey.
