Roseburg Church Forms Girls Club The Roseburg Assembly of God has started a new group for girls from 12 to 17, called the Mission- eltes Club. Sharon Allen was elected presi dent: Wilm. Caskey. vice presi dent; Nancy Walker, secretary; Sharon Monrean, treasurer. They are now working on . proj ect of sending articles to . mis sionary family in Arizona who work with the Indians there. Carolyn Allen is the counselor sponsor and the adult advisor is Mrs. Vernon Klemens. The group meets every Thurs day afternoon at 4:30 in the church basement. E. M. Mrs. Ruth Cowley of London, England, arrived in Roseburg Fri day to spend several week, visit ing her daughter, Mrs. Joan Gert, and children. The former wiu sail July 1; from New York for her return trip. Dave Lyons, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lyons, spent the wekend here returning Sunday to his stud ies at the University of Oregon. The former made the trip to at tend the Roseburg High School Junior-Senior Prom Saturday night. Mr. end Mrs. Albert Joelson were host to their son, John, and to Paul Adams of Klamath Falls over the weekend. Bob Hultman, who has been at tending high school in Areata, Calif., arrived here Saturday to spend the weekend with his moth er, Mrs. Drucill.
