It was only a 48-46 margin for Grant, but it was enough to drop uonson to second place. Idle Lin coln held to third place. Jefferson scored an expected 61-52 over Franklin to remain fourth. Grant was rated No. 10 in the latest AP poll. South Salem, ranked No. 9. went through three overtimes and lost to Milwaukie, 47-45, in another Tuesday game. McMinnville managed to down Oswego. 69-61. Klkton defeated Drain, 44-39, and Sutherlin lost to Myrtle Creek, 42-39, itt other games. It was the 19th straight victory for Elkton and its second consecu tive decision over highlv regarded Drain (15-3).
