CLASS REUNION
AFFAIR OF SUNDAY
Seven members of the 1940
graduating class of Glide High
School and their families gathered
Sunday at Umpqua Park to enjoy
a reunion potluck picnic. Only
three out of the class of 10 were
unable to be present at the reunion,
the first since 1946. Absent were
David Asam and Wanda Moore of
California and Bob Reinhart of
Medford.
Present to enjoy the day were
me Kev. Chester Morgan, minis-
tor of the Methodist Church in
Vancouver. Wash.; Harold and
Marjorie (Morton) Miles and their
daughter, from Beaverton; Carl
and Hope (Miles) Starbuck and
son of Myrtle Creek; Lawrence
and Alice (Thompson) West and
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis
Suiter and Eliner and Pauline
(Suiter) Merle, all of Roseburg.

recently at the William Kascerosky home at Idleyld Park.
William's brother, John, who has changed his last name
to Kascier, is a veteran screen actor and is now in tele-'
vision with the Rodney Young Productions at Columbia
Studios producing "Father Knows Best." Mrs. Josephine
Flieder. sister of the two brothers, and Gus Carlson,, a
friend of the family, both of Bremerton, joined them
Tuesday. Mrs. George Young and daughter, Bonnie Jo,
of Langley, Wash., and Mrs. Cecil Bell and daughter,
Caro, Bremerton, also came down. Mrs. Young and Mrs.
Bell are daughters of Mrs. Flieder. Mr. Bell flew down

spilling over with gifts, while the
traditional stork graced the cen
ter of Mrs. Broadwater's gift-laden
table.
Mrs. Ann Strinscr led the group
in playing several games for which
prizes 'were awarded. After the
gifts were opened by the honored
